Dr. Satin Patel, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Patel’s special interests in assisted reproductive technologies, preimplantation genetic diagnoses, fertility preservation in cancer patients and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) led him to the role of medical director for the Assisted Reproductive Technology Services (A.R.T.S.) program at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and to founding North Texas IVF.
Dr. Patel graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience, then attended David Geffen School of Medicine also at UCLA. He went on to complete his internship and residency in 2007 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Patel is fellowship trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
He has published numerous scientific articles in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Biennial Review of Infertility, Fertility and Sterility, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Journal of the Society of Gynecological Investigation, Reproductive Sciences and Seminars in Human Reproduction. He has been invited to speak at several international conferences to address the potential treatment avenues for women suffering from PCOS-related infertility. Dr. Patel has also served as a moderator at the Society of Gynecologic Investigation’s (SGI) international meetings, is the recipient of research awards from the Endocrine Society and National Institute of Health, and has earned scholarships from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society and Midwest Reproductive Symposium.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American College for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society.
